Audi hijacks wireless networks in New York
The all-new Audi A4 beats the BMW 328i in almost every category, but the public was largely unaware of this. Audi needed to tout the superiority of the A4 in a way that would make auto journalists pay attention.
Wireless internet at auto shows is notoriously weak and in short supply. Audi used this to our advantage at the 2016 New York International Auto Show by "hijacking the wifi" with powerful, hidden networks around the convention center.
